A1 milk contains a type of protein called beta-casein which is not easily absorbed by the body and may increases the risk of type 1 diabetes, heart disease and may cause digestive discomfort. Milk produced by A1 cows supposedly produces opiate-like effects resulting in the development of mild to serious medical conditions. Today, most of the cows in the world are made genetically with gene of A1 milk in order to produce more yielding.
It has been conclusively proved that consumption of the A1 beta-casein milk leads to milk intolerance together with an additional range of auto-immune diseases and hence, it has been called ‘the devil in the milk’.

Good
breeds of cattle are mostly confined to comparatively dry areas such as
Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Pastures in
these areas may qualitatively be enough, but they are often scarce. The
uncertainty of rainfall makes it obligatory on the part of the owners to
grow crops, the residue of which provides a good supply of fodder for
cattle. In humid climate, a very poor type of cattle is found.
